Padnoma Yard Care provides basic maintenance service to residential and light commercial clients. Lawn care is offered during the summer months of May through September. Padnoma Yard Care listens to what you the customer's preferences are. You will be given a scheduled day and we'll will usually be there on that day every week or biweekly depending on your contract (weather permitting). After each visit the team will leave you a signed follow-up door hanger which lists the date and the work completed. This keeps you in the loop about what has been done to your property. For our environmentally and noise conscious customers Padnoma lawn maintenance has pollution-free, quiet, manual push, lawn mowers that can be used when requested. Spring and/or fall clean-up are offered in the months of April and October. The yard is cleaned of branches, leaves and litter. Padnoma Yard Care bags and removes the leaves and debris from your yard. Padnoma Yard Care offers a variety of extra services that you may be interested in. We provide vacation care to your home which can range from lawn watering, plant care and flowerbed weeding to taking the mail and paper in. Simple painting such as fences and doogie doo clean up. Padnoma offers snow removal services in the winter months. Snow and ice services for residential and light commercial sidewalks is usually done Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Generally the snow is cleared after it has stopped snowing. If there is a considerable snowfall on Friday, then we will clear on Saturday. There is no snow clearing on Sundays. This program supports the individual to be involved in their community when employment is not their goal. It facilitates meaningful activities and opportunities to connect with the community through attending recreation and leisure activities, joining clubs or organzied groups and also to give back to the community through volunteer or contract work. Volunteering in the community promotes a sense of belonging and increases self esteern and confidence.

Residential

Indviduals are supported in homes that they own or rent in the community. They are encouraged to create a home of their own that mirrors their lifestyle and identity. Staff support is given based on the individuals need to develop daily living skills and experience home management. Independence, personal safety and comfort, budgeting, respect of others as well as responsibility and personal wellness is supported.

Through assessments and knowledge of the individual, staff is able to help the individual determine their areas of skill and interest. Individuals are then assisted to develop the skills required in order to obtain paid employment in the area of their interest. Practical experience comes from volunteering or working for an empolyer for a time limited placement period. Staff identifies problem areas and provides further training to the individual to overcome these areas. Support is given in resume writing, interview skills and positive work ethics. Job search is the last step in this program.

The ulimate goal is for the individual to be independent in their job. Staff assist individuals in maintaining paid employment with ongoing support both to the empolyer and/or the individual. As the individual becomes proficent in the job duties the amount of staff support will diminish. Follow-up support continues throughout the empolyment term with the Employment Specialist making regular drop-in connections.
